나는 전능하신 아버지 하나님, 천지의 창조주를 믿습니다. 나는 그의 유일하신 아들 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 믿습니다. 그는 성령으로 잉태되어 동정녀 마리아에게서 나시고, 본디오 빌라도에게 고난을 받아 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시고, 장사된 지 사흘만에 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나셨으며, 하늘에 오르시어 전능하신 아버지 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시다가, 거기로부터 살아있는 자와 죽은 자를 심판하러 오십니다. 나는 성령을 믿으며, 거룩한 공교회와 성도의 교제와 죄를 용서 받는 것과 몸의 부활과 영생을 믿습니다. 아멘.
I believe in God,the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

18 생각하건대 현재의 고난은 장차 우리에게 나타날 영광과 비교할 수 없도다
19 피조물이 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들이 나타나는 것이니
20 피조물이 허무한 데 굴복하는 것은 자기 뜻이 아니요 오직 굴복하게 하시는 이로 말미암음이라
21 그 바라는 것은 피조물도 썩어짐의 종 노릇 한 데서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에 이르는 것이니라
18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; 20 for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
